The Well-Installed Framework
A published specification for judging any hardwood installation — including ours. Use it on every quote you are holding.
Fixed price in writing. HEPA-sealed dust containment. Salaried master artisans. FSC-certified materials. Toronto homes transformed with certainty — not hope.
HEPA-sealed sanding. Salaried crew. The number on the page is the number on the invoice.
Every other Toronto floor company makes you book a visit to hear a number. Here’s the range up front — the exact price is fixed in writing at your free in-home estimate, and it never moves after that.
Refresh a floor that’s still sound
A light abrasion and a fresh topcoat. No full sand — right when the finish is worn but the wood underneath is healthy. Extends the floor 3–5 years.
The complete restoration
Sanded to bare wood, stained to your choice, three coats of premium finish — all dustless. This is what most Toronto main floors need every 7–10 years.
New floors or specialty finishes
New wide-plank hardwood, oil finishes like Rubio Monocoat, custom stain matching, stairs and repairs. Priced per project after we see the space.
What moves the number: floor condition, stairs, species hardness, a light-to-dark colour change, and board repairs. We walk every one of these with you on-site — no surprises, no change orders. That’s what “fixed price in writing” means.

No stock photos, no invented reviews — each card is a published case study naming the substrate, the species and the readings.
A refinish spanning three levels and the transitions between them — the scope most quotes miss.
Wide-plank walnut, and what colour stability asks of the finish schedule and the room’s humidity.
Hardwood below grade — the moisture mitigation that made it possible, documented.
Every case study publishes what was measured, not only what was achieved — all of them are here, and each one names the substrate, the species, the readings and the protocol it followed.
